Bill Eberhart, Elder
Bill was born September 1965 in Phoenix, AZ, graduating from Greenway High School in 1983. He has been employed in the Landscape Maintenance business for over 20 years and has owned his own Commercial Landscape Maintenance business (SuperScapers Lawn Service, Inc.) for the past 12 years, with the majority of his work being in Sun City, AZ.
Bill and Cheri met in 1988, married in 1990 and quickly began their family with the birth of the first of two sons, Jacob, and then 2 years later Kaleb. Jacob also graduated from Greenway High School and now attends GCC. Kaleb is a senior at Greenway. Cheri is a stay-at-home mom/wife and takes care of the office aspects of the business.
On January 14, 1997, after a serious upheaval in their marriage, Cheri left the home and Bill, broken and no longer desiring to live, cried out to the Lord Jesus in repentance and surrendered his life and will completely to Him. After a two month trial of being separated, Cheri returned home and began attending Church with Bill and soon after repented and believed also.
They have been serving the Lord together ever since, volunteering in a Church Bookstore and teaching 3rd grade Sunday school for years. Bill has led many small Bible Study groups, his love for the Lord and His Word continually impresses upon him the need to lead others to the truth of God's Word. The most important thing to him is God's glory and to see men and women walk obediently in the truth and love of Jesus Christ.
